This is aftermarket OEM part for the VW Golf MK7 & MK7.5 GTI and R.
As fitted from factory by VAG, these are a very common weak point on the EA888 engine causing coolant loss and overheating.
These generally need replacing every 60,000 miles or so, however we have seen some cars with around 20-30,000 miles failing.
