The ARM Upgraded Charge Piping Kit for the MQB platform improves airflow by completely replacing the restrictive 1.5″ factory plastic piping to and from your intercooler with full 2.5″ T6061 aluminum piping coated in a durable wrinkle black finish.

The factory charge piping on the MQB platform consists of quite narrow 1.5″ plastic piping with multiple geometrical changes.  The ARM Charge Piping Upgrade is engineered with a consistent 2.5″ diameter throughout the entire system.

The ARM Charge Piping Upgrade consists of two main sections.  The first is the turbo outlet pipe which upgrades the section of piping from the turbo to the intercooler.Â

The second section is the throttle body component which upgrades the piping from the intercooler to the throttle body.Â

This second section of piping has an integrated 1/8″ NPT port for methanol or nitrous injection in the ideal location, after the intercooler but before the throttle body. Â

CONSTRUCTION

All of the aluminum piping in the ARM Charge Piping Upgrade is constructed of T6061 2.5″ aluminum piping coated in a durable wrinkle black finish.

All of the silicone couplers in the ARM Charge Piping Upgrade are 6 layer reinforced silicone, capable of withstanding boost from even the most demanding builds without deforming or expanding under pressure.  Accompanying the silicone couplers are constant-tension T-bolt clamps for securing all of the connections in the ARM MQB Charge Piping Upgrade.

The ARM MQB Charge Piping Upgrade comes complete with the ARM precision CNC machined Turbo Muffler Delete.   While using the stock turbo muffler delete with its 1.8″ size would have to expand to meet the ARM Charge Piping size of 2.5″.  The ARM Turbo Muffler Delete offers a smooth transition from the IS20 or IS38 turbo to the first section of charge piping by maintaining the 2.5″ diameter.Â

FITMENT GUIDE

The ARM MQB Charge Piping Upgrade fits both the OEM intercooler and the ARM FMIC Kit.  The ARM Charge Piping Upgrade will also fit stock-location upgraded intercoolers that also fit the stock charge piping.
